Torre del Verger

In order to protect themselves from Moorish pirates, the inhabitants constructed a watchtower outside of the municipality. The watchtower, known as the Torre de ses Animes, overlooks the sea and is today the most-visited point of interest in Majorca. The small bay-beach is accessible only by a steep stairway.

Penyal de Migdia

Penyal de Migdia is a view point on the Puig Major. At this point you can’t see the exact point of Penyal de Migdia, because it is just out of scope of the camera. To get on top of this mountain is a hard hike and is not really good signed. At Penyal de Migdia is a military radar post.

Cala es Codolar

The house you see on this picture has a view on Cala es Codolar. Even better, it is the “private” beach of this house. A house, only reachable by SUV makes it a unique place to live. It also at the end of Torrent de Pareis.

Cartoixa de Valldemossa

It used to be a monastry, but nowadays it is a museum. The monastry was originally build as a palace for King Sancho of Majorca. After that it became a real monastry and much later it was rented by Frederic Chopin and Georde Sand. They caused the popularity of this building by tourists.

In the Jardins Rei Joan Carles there is a fence which leads to nothing. Interesting, because it makes you curious…

Lonely biker

Lonely cyclist in the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains on the Coll del Reis on the Spanish island of Mallorca. On this sunny, but cloudy day, this cyclist literally cycled in the clouds at an altitude of over 600 metres.
